I've always felt it's extremely foolish to get upset and all stressed up after an exam since nothing will change the fact that your marks have already been fixed the second you hand in your answer sheet (or for OSCE, do something stupid)
& sorry to those of you who's screaming around, crying and reeling how bad you did, no pity for you
That very me that never felt upset after any exam in the past 22 years of my life
felt stupid for once finally - I screwed up the surgical station that I wanted to do best in
The patient asked me what is this condition he's having - basal atelectasis
I went blank for 3 seconds, and calmly told him "Sir, I'm sorry, I don't know what is that and I cant explain to you"
He went blank too, staring back at me
and with the Head of Surgery of the hospital as your examiner, it wasn't funny at all T_T
To cap it all, the next day while revising for the written paper, we randomly flipped open a page in the book and the topic read "Post operative pyrexia" with basal atelectasis at the top of the page.

The surgeon's pride is hurt. I'll be back.
